Other Activies Occuring During our Reunion Weekend

 

Friday, July 25th

Chase Food Folks & Spokes - An all-day (10 am - 10 pm), FREE, fun family-friendly event sponsored by the Kenosha YMCA.  This event is one stop in the International Cycling Classic (part of the Superweek circuit).  For those who aren't familiar, this is world-class bicycle racing (in a wide variety of levels/categories) which takes place around Library Park in downtown Kenosha.  It offers "something for everyone" (even if you're not "into" racing) - a wide assortment of food, games and entertainment for kids, musical performances, a health and wellness expo, and of course.... lots of racing.  It regularly draws up to 30,000 spectators.  For more info, check out the Kenosha YMCA website at http://www.kenoshaymca.org/events/food_folks_spokes.php 

 Unofficial Icebreaker - You were looking for something to do Friday night... and now you've got it!  Head over to Coin's Sports Bar (1714 - 52nd Street in Kenosha) for a rockin' time with the band 89 Mojo (www.89mojo.com) which features TWO of our class of '88 alumni.  The fun kicks off at 8:30 PM.  For only a $3 cover charge, kick your weekend off with a great time!  Go enjoy some great music and catch up with some classmates - you never know who you'll see!!


  

Saturday, July 26th

Go Golfing - Heh all you golfers!  Want to meet up for a round of golf with your classmates?  An outing has been arranged for 16 players - 4 foursomes with carts, starting at 8:30 am at Bristol Oaks Country Club (http://www.bristoloaks.com/). The reservations are listed under Bradford Class of 88.  Cost = $45.80.  Interested players should contact Katie Ashley ASAP via email at ashley_katherine@hotmail.com or call at 608.770.7298.  Those playing will meet at approximately 8:15, check in with Katie, and then check in and pay in the proshop.
